WELAB had an interview with Maximillian.
WELAB: Good morning Maximillian. Tell us a bit about yourself?
Maximilian Orlando (MO): Good morning WELAB. First I’d like to thank you for taking the time to interview me for your magazine. As a kid I’ve always had an interest in fashion. I was actually approached by an entertainment agent at a young age. However, my family is very big on education. They’re from a different generation, and didn’t believe “modeling/acting” are actual jobs so they wouldn’t allow me to attend Go-Sees.
Eventually I finished high school and decided to participate in the Hollywood’s Best New Talent competition at the Kodak theater. After that I was working on a regular basis.
WELAB: Why did you choose to pursue a career as a model?
MO: I chose to pursue a career in modeling for multiple reasons. To me clothing choices are the number one tool we use daily to express ourselves. When I young, I actually interned for a start up/indie-fashion line and I really enjoyed it. My internship experience motivated me to attend my first casting call. And even though I didn’t get that job, eventually I would book my first paid gig & the rest is history.
WELAB: How do you handle stressful situations?
MO: I try not to get stressed out because the long term effects on the body are catastrophic. However, if I do find myself stressing I like to unplug. No phone, no computer, no tablet. Just a cup of tea and a DVD box set from the 90’s will definitely do the trick & help me unwind.
To be continued in WELAB Magazine February 2018 issue……
